The National Transport Authority (NTA) has been advised that due to necessary remedial works required on the north side of the Rosie Hackett Bridge, the bridge will be closed from 10:00-16:00 on Tuesday 23 November 2021 and Wednesday 24 November 2021.

During that time the following bus lanes and approaches to the bridge will be required to be closed, as shown in the attached temporary traffic management plan:

  • The west bound riverside bus lane on Eden Quay from O’Connell  bridge to Rosie Hackett Bridge
  • The east bound riverside contra flow bus lane on Eden Quay from Butt Bridge to Rosie Hackett Bridge
  • The east bound riverside contra flow bus lane on Custom House Quay from the Talbot Memorial Bridge to Butt Bridge.

With the lane closures it is not possible to maintain layover locations for the duration of the works. We are aware of the significance that these bus lanes and layovers provide for public transport services but as the works are to facilitate public transport services onto the Rosie Hackett Bridge, we would greatly appreciate your co-operation with the alternative arrangements required for the duration of the scheduled works.
