By the end of 2024, the companies of the bus group KVG Stade, CeBus and the transport company Bachstein (Southern Germany) will renew their fleet with IVECO buses. As it was the case for the past three years, it includes the purchase of a total of 200 IVECO buses. This purchase agreement was signed the end of November.

This new framework agreement covers the 18-meter IVECO Urbanway, as city buses, and the IVECO Crossway low-entry intercity buses in lengths of 10.8, 12 and 14.5 meters. The IVECO Urbanway and Crossway low entry buses are specially designed for public transport and are therefore an efficient means of transportation for modern metropolitan areas. These both bus variants offer many advantages with easy entry and exit flows, excellent maneuverability, a high level of driver’s seat comfort, long maintenance intervals and, for the most part, an efficient and powerful 360 hp Cursor 9 engine that complies with the Euro 6 D emissions standard.

KVG Stade has also opted for extensive individual equipment for these buses.  These include, for example, cantilever seating without a pod, air conditioning, a video surveillance system, a card reader, turn assist system and much more.

“Thanks to these new buses, we’ll be able to increase the quality and attractiveness of our transport services offer, always ensuring a greater comfort and safety on board both for passengers and drivers,” said Jan Behrendt, Managing Director of KVG GmbH & Co. KG.

With more than 130-year history and experiences, these companies have become major leading actors in mobility services and provide a wide range of bus transport services in large parts of Lower Saxony, from the North Sea to the Lüneburger Heide to the Harz Mountains, as well as in regions of Bavaria and Saxony. They operate successfully in the urban and regional bus transport markets. Today, KVG Stade is the largest regional transport company in Lower Saxony.

“KVG Stade has been a loyal IVECO customer for many years and we are very pleased that this reference customer has again chosen the IVECO BUS offer in the current tender, confirming this trusting partnership,” added Erhan Eren, Business Director Bus Germany, Austria & Switzerland at Iveco Magirus AG.
