The delivery is ADL’s first to new customer Taw and Torridge Coaches which was established in 1976 and operates across the South West of England.

The brand new 10.8m bus has 41 ADL Smart Seats in e-leather, and is fitted with LED headlights, alloy wheels, a digital tachograph, wood effect flooring and tinted windows. It is powered by a four-cylinder Cummins engine meeting the Euro 6 emissions standard which is matched to an Allison automatic gearbox, a combination that is reliable and easy to maintain.

It will join Taw and Torridge Coaches extensive fleet offering a range of private hire, day trips and scheduled routes.

Taw and Torridge Coaches Managing Director Mark Hunt said: “We’re delighted to have taken delivery of this new vehicle. It will complement our existing fleet perfectly and help us continue to offer high-quality, reliable and comfortable services to our many customers.”

Mark Taylor, ADL Sales Account Manager, added: “It’s been a pleasure to work with the team at Taw and Torridge Coaches and I know this vehicle will be an excellent addition to their fleet. We look forward to working with them again in the future.”
