A brand-new coach type from UNVI will arrive to Swedish market shortly

By December 2022, Bergkvarabuss will receive the 23 UNVI SIL buse order constructed over MAN chassis for the regional service, which wa recently awarded in Söderslätt and Österlen, in the Skåne region.The Svenska Neoplanin collaboration with Spanish Bodybuilder UNVI, has developed a double decker bus fully adapted to meet the Swedish Express bus service.

The MAN chassis has a D26RME engine with 470 Hp and 6 cylinders, and the body reaches 14.2 meters length and 4.2 m height.

As reported by Jonas Helsner, Sales manager at Svenska Neoplan, this sector is a growing market in Sweden, and with this UNVI SIL model, Neoplan completes its portfolio. 

With this new order UNVI will pass over 160 buses delivered since the UNVISIL launch, remaining South Korea as the country with biggest volume until now, with over 130 units driving every day for interurban service.
