Optimum Chauffeur chose EVM

Dublin based Optimum Chauffeur has recently take delivery of a new EVM 16-seater Avantgarde. Based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 516 with extra-long wheel base, it is powered by a 2.2 litre Euro 6 CDI Common Rail Direct Injection diesel engine. Transmission is a G-Tronic 7-Speed automatic gear box, and the exterior is finished in Mercedes-Benz Selenite Grey.

This model features EVM Panoramic glazed saloon windows in privacy grey, along with the original 270 degree hinged doors, together with a full height drop boot, fold out flaps with stainless steel boot protector.

Optimum’s choice of Eberspacher EV814 14kw saloon air conditioning is ducted through the brushed aluminium racks, exiting through passenger service units adds to the passenger comfort. The Mercedes-Benz infotainment system incorporating touch screen display DAB radio, Apple Car Play, Android Play and Bluetooth are also specified. The vehicle also is fitted with a PA system ready to use with hand microphone, additional microphone socket and clip fitted on dash as are saloon speakers integrated in passenger service units. In addition the reversing camera display is integrated through the infotainment unit. Inside, there are 16 EVM Executive class seats which are fitted with 3-point seat belts and aisle folding arm rests and finished in real leather. Reclining back rests are another comfort element. The saloon area has been fitted with a single and double saloon table, leather insert fitted on leg free pedestal, recessed cup holders, premium conference seating layout in the rear.
