13 jobs have been created at Dungarvan as part of a €2.5 million investment by Circle K, on opening its newest service station, which is located on the N25 road at Gallows Hill, Kilrush Roundabout, Dungarvan, County Waterford.

The new site is a full redevelopment of the local service station and a significant addition to Circle K’s network of service stations in the south east of Ireland. The opening of Circle K Dungarvan brings the total of Circle K’s company owned stores to 159 nationwide. Circle K has retained employment from all staff who worked at the service station prior to the redevelopment. Located on the N25 Cork / Waterford road, it is expected that the new station will serve over 18,000 consumers daily.

Speaking about the opening of Circle K Dungarvan, Paul Dixon, Senior Director of Retail Sales & Operations, Circle K Ireland commented: “We are delighted to be opening our new service station in Dungarvan, County Waterford and catering for the needs of residents as well as motorists that use the N25 Cork / Waterford road regularly. At this time, it is important that we do all we can to support local communities in Ireland more than ever, so I am delighted that this new site is opening as we continue to journey through the crisis together. At Circle K, the health and safety of our colleagues and customers is our number one priority and our new service station opens today with a range of protective measures in place. As further phases in the Government’s roadmap begin in the coming weeks, will be looking for ways to enhance these measures even further, adhering to HSE and Government guidelines. I’d like to thank everyone involved in the redevelopment of the new site and wish our colleagues and store manager, Colm, all the best as they continue to deliver top quality customer service to the local community and road users travelling the area.”
