Donegal Automotive Services (DAS), has been working on a project for the past while to help get buses and coaches back on the road again. Joseph Ferry and his team have developed an innovative safety check for passengers, such as a smart COVID-19 temperature check device, that will not only cater for the bus and coach market but also the taxi sector. It can also be used in any public place i.e. schools, hotels, community halls etc.

Before the passenger enters the vehicle, they undergo a quick facial temperature check and once given the green light, and use the hand sanitizer alongside, they can safely step-in and take their seat.

Donegal Automotive Services is the North West sales agent for the China-built Higer coaches, which are supplied by Harris Group. DAS also has a highly skilled team available with years of experience in coach building, van conversions and seat belt anchorage testing.
