Have you a bus in your fleet that is ready to move to a new retirement in an exciting way? Then St. Ultans School in Cherry Orchard is the pasture for it.
St. Ultans is an integrated care and education facility in Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10, an area classified as significantly disadvantaged. St. Ultans provides an early years’ service, primary school, an Autism unit and care service for children at risk. We have been lucky to have a bus donated 15 years ago to St. Ultans, which has been a vital part of the service. It is in use all year round, whether it is taking children on trips, getting them out of their environment, whether it’s a residential overnight in Cavan, day trips during the summer programme to Wicklow or elsewhere, or all year round trips to swimming, canoeing, or their normal weekly programme.
“The bus today is 18 years old, and is breaking down on a regular basis, if we are able to change it, then we can ensure continued trips for children and young people of St. Ultans and Cherry Orchard,” said a school spokesperson.
