The new appointment is dedicated to Daimler Bus’ ongoing and future presence in the UK and Irish market, following the launch of the all-electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro

EvoBus (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Gladstone as E-Mobility Manager. No stranger to Irish operators, Neil is taking over responsibility for the launch and sale of the new all-electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro.  He brings to the role over five years’ retail sales experience in the coach market and additional experience within the UK and Irish bus sector in aftersales.  The current focus on local zero emission vehicles, represents a huge challenge to the wider industry, including but not limited to local authorities, bus operators and vehicle manufacturers.  The Department for Transport’s “Bus Back Better” strategy, a nationally coordinated approach to improve local bus services, represents a unique opportunity for EvoBus (UK) Ltd to showcase its benchmark product and support the supply of quality vehicles to enhance passenger journeys.

EvoBus (UK) Ltd Director of Sales, Jonathan Prime, commented on the appointment said: “With Neil’s previous experience, he fits seamlessly into the E-Mobility role.  His broad product knowledge and in-depth understanding of the needs of the industry enable him to work closely with customers, infrastructure providers and our network partners to firmly establish the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro in the UK and Irish markets.  We have great confidence in both him and the product as we look to build for the future.”

Neil Gladstone, E-Mobility Manager, began his role with EvoBus (UK) Ltd with immediate effect.
