Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, has announced that it has appointed Neil Gladstone as National Account Manager – London.

Neil Gladstone has joined Alexander Dennis to provide dedicated sales support to bus operators running Transport for London routes, focusing on zero-emission buses. Neil brings a wealth of bus and automotive industry experience to the Alexander Dennis team, having worked previously for Wrightbus, EvoBus UK, Volkswagen, ZF and Nottingham City Transport.

Transport for London mandates all new buses to be zero emission today as part of the Mayor of London’s strategy to fully convert the bus fleet by 2034. Alexander Dennis and its partners have supplied over 800 electric buses to London operators since 2016, accounting for four in five zero-emission buses delivered to the UK capital to date.

Alexander Dennis Fleet Sales Director, Matthew Lawrence, welcomed the appointment: “Neil’s experience with zero-emission buses will be critical to our success in the London market. It’s great to have him on the team and we look forward to a successful future together.

“With our next-generation integral Enviro400EV and Enviro100EV being available to Transport for London operators in 2024 alongside the tried and tested products of the BYD–Alexander Dennis partnership, we are ready to stand alongside our customers as they continue on their journey toward fleet-scale electrification.”
