A new right-hand drive version of the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro will be one of the passenger vehicles used to transport COP26 delegates around Glasgow over the next two weeks. Mercedes-Benz is proud to have been asked to partner with M-Four, to show delegates from all over the globe how businesses are already grasping the nettle to reduce emissions and working hard and successfully towards a net-zero environment.

M-Four is an organisation that offers a practical, progressive consultancy service to improve energy efficiency, fire safety and the environment of social house tenants across Scotland. During COP26 it will be showcasing the Springburn Estate in North Glasgow where, thanks to the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps, energy usage in the properties has been reduced by 64% and CO2 emissions significantly reduced.

Already present in many major European cities, the eCitaro is locally emission-free and almost silent. It offers an impressive and unprecedented standard in energy efficiency, courtesy of its innovative thermal management system. In addition, it is ready for the battery technology of the near future with its intelligent modular battery concept and charging technology.
