ITT Hub 30th June – 1st July 2021 has announced the latest new signings, adding to the line up of 125 companies who have already taken a stand. Over 160 exhibitors are expected when the doors open next summer.

Disc-Lock Europe
Loose wheel nuts caused by stress and vibration have long been a serious safety issue in the commercial vehicle sector. Disc-Lock has been manufacturing locking wheel nuts for 25 years. Their products eliminate wheel loss on trucks, trailers and buses and are fitted to major fleets as well as used by manufacturers across Europe.

Disc-Lock’s parent company Tension Control Bolts supplies wider applications, with their fasteners being used in a variety of settings, from the Channel Tunnel, motorway gantries and the Shard in the UK, through to electric pylons across Russia and an aircraft hangar in Chernobyl, which utilized Greenkote, their patented thermal diffusion coating which is eco-friendly and eliminates hydrogen embrittlement issues.

“The Disc-Lock Safety wheel nut has been at the forefront of essential road safety. It has prevented accidents, injuries and deaths on our public roadways and motorways, ensuring that the logistics of all vital goods can reach each destination safety and on time to keep the global movement of products throughout all industries” explained Ian Rowe, Technical Sales for Disc-Lock Europe.

“We’re excited about attending ITT Hub. It’s going to be great to be at a brand new event, which is targeting the wider transport sector, matching the customers and prospects who we want to meet.”

Their first site is Energy Superhub Oxford (ESO), a £41m project which aims to create a blueprint for towns and cities across the UK to cut carbon and improve air quality.

Pivot Power’s model delivers large volumes of power to specific locations to enable mass-scale, rapid EV charging, and the company has its sights on 40 locations in total.

Commenting on how ITT Hub fits into the company’s 2021 strategy, Business Development Director, Edward Sargent said:
“ITT Hub 2021 is a major event in the logistics calendar which couldn’t come at a more important time for the sector. The next few years are critical to tackle the climate emergency, decarbonise transport and transition to an electric future. Pivot Power is working to accelerate this journey by creating a national network of Energy Superhubs which provide the power infrastructure needed to charge large numbers of vehicles quickly, from bus depots and distribution centres to park and rides and motorway service areas. We’re excited to exhibit at ITT Hub 2021, to share news on our latest projects and catch up with industry friends and colleagues face to face. We hope to see you there!”

“Meaningful conversation matters. It is the antidote to what ails us. BACK in the midst of time we would sit around a campfire in a cave and tell stories. Conversation is the solution to instilling confidence BACK into the economy. This requires a centrepiece for the industry to meet at and engage in conversation.
