With the continuous interest and uptake in Natural Gas powered commercial vehicles, Roadgas Limited, based in Nottingham has recently been appointed as an international distributor for the Compac, NZ range of gas refuelling dispensers for the UK & Ireland.

For more than 35 years, Compac has been manufacturing and supplying fuel dispensers and dispenser technology to gas refuelling stations around the world. Initially providing Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) solutions, Compac’s product range has been expanded to include metering technology, payment terminals and fuel management systems. Their products are used in the mining, aviation, marine, transport and other commercial industries.

Combining high quality engineered design with cost effective solutions that has played a key role in the development of its product range has been highly successful.

Compac, however, continues to invest in product development and has attained international approvals for many of its products.  The collaborative nature of working with Compac means future development of products will always be about providing customers with quality engineered solutions, at the right price.

David Rix, Managing Director explains: “This is a significant development for Roadgas and our customers in the sectors in which we operate.  The addition of the Compac range of dispensers helps us to provide a quality engineered solution as well as providing a one-stop shop for our transport customers looking at CNG to help decarbonise their fleets.”

Trevor Watt, Sales Manager, Compac added: “We are delighted to be working with Roadgas as our representative in the UK & Ireland.  Roadgas is a natural choice for us as we have worked with them for a number of years now. We have been impressed by their commitment to drive CNG, LNG and biomethane infrastructure development in these growth markets in the past couple of years.”

Roadgas will be installing, servicing and maintaining all dispenser products on behalf of Compac.  The Roadgas service engineers are technically trained and able to provide help and advice on the range of dispensers now available.  Roadgas will also carry a range of spare parts to help with faster replacement and refurbishment for maintenance purposes.

“We look forward to working with the existing range of Compac customers as well as welcoming some new ones.  Roadgas remains committed to providing the highest levels of service for our own new and existing clients and to the broader Compac customer base,” concluded David.
